E-Smart Card (Vehicle Registration Card) in Punjab

Punjab has moved many vehicle records from the old paper book toward a chip-based smart card with a QR code for roadside checks.

What the smart card is for

The card stores key registration identity for the vehicle. Traffic police can use the QR / digital record to confirm details quickly. After a new registration or ownership transfer, printing and delivery can take time.

Keep your application / chassis references from Excise.
Use the official Excise / MTMIS tracking options published for smart-card status.
Watch for statuses such as printing, dispatched, or ready for collection (wording varies by portal update).
Do not pay agents who promise "instant cards" outside official channels.

Sindh

Sindh does not have a separate VRC site listed here. Registration checks use Sindh vehicle search.

No separate GB smart-card tracker is listed. Use gbexcise.gov.pk.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

No KPK vehicle smart-card tracker is listed. The Dastak portal is arms licensing, not a vehicle card tracker.

Punjab has shifted many records to the e-smart card. Carry whatever Excise currently recognises for your vehicle, and use official tracking if a new card was ordered after transfer or registration.
